Terms of Service

1. Services

Luua Design provides graphic design, document formatting, web page design, CSS and code deliverables, and related design services to individuals and businesses worldwide. All services are listed at luua.pro/services. Services are subject to availability and at the sole discretion of Luua Design.

Luua Design reserves the right to decline any inquiry without providing a reason.

2. Quotes & pricing

All pricing displayed on the website represents estimates and ranges. A final, confirmed price is agreed between the client and Luua Design over email before any work begins and before any payment link is issued.

Prices shown are in United States Dollars (USD). Any currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client.

Work does not begin until a price has been agreed in writing via email and payment has been received.

3. Payment

Payment is required before any work is started or any consultation call is confirmed. All payments are processed via a secure payment link sent to the client by email. No payment is collected through website forms or third-party storefronts.

The minimum transaction amount is $10. The maximum standard transaction amount is $1,500. Projects requiring payment above $1,500 are handled as custom arrangements.

Payment links for consultation calls expire 48 hours after being sent. If payment is not completed within this window, the reserved time slot is released and the booking process must restart.

4. Fraud & high-risk payments

Completed payments that are flagged as high risk for fraud by our payment processor are subject to cancellation and full refund at the sole discretion of Luua Design. Work will not begin on any project associated with a flagged payment until the matter is fully resolved.

Common causes of high-risk flags include, but are not limited to:

• Use of a VPN, proxy service, or anonymising network at the time of payment
• Mismatched billing information
• Card activity flagged by the payment processor
• Unusual transaction patterns

Clients are strongly advised to disable any VPN or proxy service before completing payment. If a payment is cancelled due to a high-risk flag, the client will be notified by email and may resubmit payment after resolving the cause of the flag.

Repeated high-risk flags from the same client may result in a refusal of service.

5. Delivery

All deliverables are sent to the client’s email address. Delivery timelines are agreed at the time of scoping and confirmed in writing via email. Luua Design will communicate any delays as soon as they are known.

Deliverable formats — such as PDF, Word, HTML, or CSS — are agreed at the time of scoping. Requests for additional formats after delivery may be subject to additional fees.

6. Revisions

The number of revisions included in any project is agreed at the time of scoping and confirmed in the email exchange prior to payment. Revision requests that fall outside the agreed scope, or that represent a fundamental change to the original brief, may be quoted as additional work.

7. Cancellation & refunds

If Luua Design cancels a project after payment has been received — for any reason other than a high-risk fraud flag — a full refund will be issued.

If a client cancels a project after payment and before work has begun, a full refund will be issued. If work has already begun, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of Luua Design, proportional to the work completed.

Consultation calls that are cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund. Calls cancelled with more than 24 hours notice will receive a full refund.

Refunds for high-risk flagged payments are governed by Section 4 of these terms.

8. Graphics & supplied assets

Luua Design includes simple graphics, icons, shapes, and standard layout decorations as part of every service. Detailed illustrations, original artwork, photography, and complex graphic compositions are not provided.

Where a project requires custom artwork, photography, or detailed illustrations, the client is responsible for sourcing and supplying these assets. Supplied assets must be provided in a suitable file format and resolution, as specified at the time of scoping. Luua Design will place and integrate supplied assets into the final design.

The client warrants that any assets they supply are owned by them or that they hold the appropriate rights or licences to use them. Luua Design accepts no liability for any intellectual property infringement arising from client-supplied assets.

9. Consultation calls

Consultation calls are available for any service offered by Luua Design. Calls are booked through the inquiry process — a date, time, and duration are agreed over email, then a payment link is issued. The call is only confirmed once payment is received.

Calls must be scheduled a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 4 weeks from the date of the initial inquiry. Duration ranges from a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 6 hours, in 30-minute increments.

Pricing is tiered: $10 per 30 minutes for the first 2 hours; $20 per 30 minutes from 2.5 to 4 hours; $30 per 30 minutes from 4.5 to 6 hours. The increased rate applies only to increments beyond each threshold.

Payment links for consultation calls expire 48 hours after being sent. Unpaid slots are released and the process must restart.

10. Intellectual property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership and usage rights for the final deliverable. Luua Design retains the right to display the work in its portfolio as an example of its services, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Luua Design retains ownership of all working files and source materials until full payment is received.

11. Limitation of liability

Luua Design’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project or service in question. Luua Design is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, any deliverable.

Luua Design makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any deliverable for a particular purpose beyond what was agreed in the project scope.

12. Legal & financial documents

Where Luua Design formats legal or financial documents — such as wills, estate documents, contracts, or financial templates — it does so as a formatting and design service only. Luua Design does not provide legal or financial advice, and the content of all such documents is the sole responsibility of the client.

Clients are strongly advised to have any legal or financial documents reviewed by a qualified professional before use.

13. Changes to these terms

Luua Design reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted at luua.pro/terms with a revised date. Continued use of Luua Design’s services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
